Natural Assets for cosmetics
Active ingredients are the substances responsible for performing the specific function of the cosmetic, such as cleansing, perfuming, maintaining, modifying appearance, protecting, or decorating. Active ingredients can be of natural origin (plant, animal, or mineral), synthetic, or biotechnological.
They are capable of producing changes in the physiological or biochemical state of the skin or hair. The nature of these changes can vary widely: increasing hydration, improving elasticity, reducing wrinkles, etc. The type of penetration also depends on the nature of the active ingredient (type of molecule, size, and shape).
Active ingredients can be used in both water-based and oil-based applications to provide greater functionality and effectiveness in the formulation of a cosmetic product. We offer a wide range of multifunctional active ingredients for both skin and hair, supported by in vitro studies and/or in vivo tests that back up their efficacy.
